Maliyah Greene is a 2019 graduate of Spelman College where she majored in Business and minored in Computer Science. Her passion for music and technology began her Sophomore year of high school. She was introduced to a program called Girls Who Code, where she was one of the 20 first inaugural women to enter the internship. While visiting several Fortune 500 companies like Google, Facebook and Twitter, many individuals stressed to her the need for women in technology. This made Maliyah want to become someone who can help in closing the gender gap for women in music entertainment and technology. " I want to show and prove that we are just as capable as our male counterparts." Being in that program taught her that there were many ways in which she could pursue her passion for music in technology. Maliyah's childhood dream of working in music entertainment has finally begun to come into fruition as she is currently an artist manager while enhancing her skills in both A&R and digital marketing. She has received many certifications over the last year pertaining to her musical career, which have allowed her to be an asset to others within her network.
